Ghadir Hani is a leader in community relations, women’s empowerment, and interfaith dialogue. Currently based in Acre, she serves as the Arab Society Coordinator and Dialogue Program Manager for mixed cities at the Mediation Center in Acre and as the Finance Manager for the Standing Together movement. She is a founding member of the Wadi Attir Project, a sustainable desert community, and a board member of Albakour, which promotes early childhood development in the Arab Negev.
Hani is active in organizations advocating for peace and coexistence, including Women Wage Peace and Kol Acher, and serves on the steering committee of the 1325 project of Itach-Ma’aki. She is also a lecturer on social and political topics and manages a Facebook platform, Al-Minbar, focusing on religion and current events.
Her advocacy has earned her several recognitions, including the Sami Michael Prize, the Israeli Hope Prize, and the 2023 Goldberg Prize for work with religious leadership. In 2020, Yediot HaNegev named her one of the 20 most influential figures in the Negev in two decades, and in 2021, Ben-Gurion University recognized her as a leading voice on campus and in the community.
