Tamar has been working for 14 years in the arena of social change in Israel in the fields of education and community. In her position as CEO of Hoshen, the advocacy arm of the LGBT community in Israel, Tamar initiated and led various programs to promote tolerance and connections with the LGBT community in order to bring a social change in society’s attitude.
In addition, she was one of the founders of the HaMechina HaYerushalmit – a pre-military academy for leadership and society, acting also as an instructor and manager of community building. She also managed the student village of the “Ayalim” association in Lod and more.
In the last 10 years, she has lived in Jerusalem, Lod, Toronto and Holon. Tamar is a former cellist, interested in carpentry and loves the sea. She also loves people and is optimistic about the future of humanity. Tamar is 34 years old, lives with a spouse and their two children in Holon.
